Yanina Schenkel
Studies Coordinator · Portuguese LanguageCELPE-Bras certified by Brazil's Ministry of Education (2005). Portuguese teacher graduated from the Instituto de Enseñanza Superior en Lenguas Vivas J. R. Fernández. Joined Cardiff Idiomas in 2008.

Language as a tool, not an end in itself
We see languages as tools in service of professional goals, not as ends in themselves. That is why we work with a communicative approach: our students don't learn grammar in the abstract — they develop the ability to communicate effectively in real workplace situations: meetings, presentations, negotiations and corporate correspondence.
Learning a second language requires time, consistency and frequent exposure. Classes are a fundamental part of the process, but progress also depends on personal practice, reading, listening and daily contact with the language.
We believe in being honest with our clients: there are no quick fixes or magic formulas. Our work is to accompany that process with a clear methodology, concrete objectives and follow-up that allows progress in an efficient, structured and measurable way.
